Vereniging AEGON is a shareholder of AEGON N.V. The Vereniging has evolved out of AGO, a mutual insurer, and currently represents under normal circumstances approximately 22.7% of the voting rights in AEGON N.V.
Vereniging AEGON has seventeen members with diverse social backgrounds. Its Executive Committee consists of seven members, two of whom serve on the Executive Board of AEGON N.V.
