Under normal circumstances the voting rights of Vereniging AEGON at the General Meeting of Shareholders of AEGON N.V., based on the number of outstanding voting shares (excluding common shares held in treasury by AEGON N.V.) currently amount to approximately 22,7%.
In the event of a 'special cause', Vereniging AEGON's voting rights will be approximately 33% for a limited period up to six months per 'special cause'.
