The General Meeting of Members of Vereniging Aegon has nineteen members. These members have different social backgrounds.
Of these nineteen members, seventeen have no ties to Aegon N.V. They are neither current nor former employees of Aegon N.V. or its associated companies, nor current or former members of the Supervisory Board or Executive Board of Aegon N.V. The other two members are a member of the Executive Board of Aegon N.V.
The Vereniging has an Executive Committee comprised of seven members, five of whom, including the chairman and the vice-chairman, do not have and never have had ties to Aegon N.V. The other two members are members of the Executive Board of Aegon N.V.

Boudewijn Dessing (1948) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon since 2011. Until 2007, Mr Dessing was chairman of Coöperatie Univé-VGZ-IZA-Trias (UVIT). He now holds several executive and supervisory positions, including as a member of the Supervisory Boards of SPF Beheer B.V., ACTA Holding B.V., Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing B.V., and as chairman of Stichting Nederlandse Hart Registratie. |

Lard Friese (1962) has been a member of the Vereniging and its Executive Committee since 2020. Mr Friese is chairman of the Executive Board of Aegon N.V. |

Peter Glas (1956) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon since 2019. Since January 1, 2019 Mr Glas has been appointed as Delta Programme Commissioner, the government commissioner responsible for the Delta Programme. As from March 2003, he was appointed by Royal Decree as Chairman of the De Dommel water board and he sat 6 years on the board of the Association of Dutch Regional Water Authorities. Until 2019, he also was a member of het Supervisory Board from NWB Bank. |

Lodewijk Hijmans van den Bergh (1963) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon and member of it's Executive Committee since 2021. At 29 November, 2021, he was appointed chairman of the Executive Committee. Until 2020 he was a lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek N.V. He was Chief Corporate Governance Counsel and member of the Executive Board of Koninklijke Ahold N.V. from 2009 to 2015. Mr Hijmans van den Bergh currently holds various supervisory and executive positions at a.o. HAL Holding N.V., BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. and at stichting Nederlands Kanker Instituut - Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Ziekenhuis. |

Alice Jentink (1974) was admitted as a member of Vereniging Aegon in November 2021. She is partner at strategic communications agency Comprehensive Strategies, where she focuses on advising financial services and tech organisations and companies. Prior to that, Ms Jentink was responsible for managing the communications and stakeholder engagement of Euronext N.V., and the development of communication strategies at various organisations in the financial sector, such as the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). |

Gitta Luiten (1968) was admitted as a member of Vereniging Aegon in November 2021. She is partner Culture & heritage at BMC consultants. Before that she was deputy mayor in Hardenberg, director of the Mondriaan Foundation and worked at the Ministry for Culture, the Arts Council and the Rijksmuseum. She was chair of the European association of Art Funds and Design Academy Eindhoven and member of the Review Committee for the Public Broadcasting Organisation and the Netherlands–China Art Foundation, among others. |

Jeppe Machielsen (1960) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon since 2017. Until 2012, Mr Machielsen was chief financial officer of Eneco N.V. He now holds several executive and supervisory positions, including as chairman of the Board of Stichting Pensioenfonds Nedlloyd, a member of the Supervisory Board of Stichting Pensioenfonds Nederlandse Groothandel, a non-executive director of De Nationale APF and member of the Supervisory Board of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Redding Maatschappij. |

Steven Martina (1976) was admitted as a member of Vereniging Aegon in November 2021. From 2004 he has held different commercial and management roles at The Greenery and since 2016 he is chairperson of the Executive Board of The Greenery. Since 2020, he was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of Euro Pool Group. He also serves at several social organisations like ‘Agnites Vrolik Prijs’ of the University of Utrecht and of the Global People Awards. |

Thessa Menssen (1967) was admitted as a member of Vereniging Aegon in November 2021. She was previously member of the Executive Board of Directors of the Port of Rotterdam and the Royal BAM group. She is member of the Supervisory Boards of Alliander, Ordina and FMO. She is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Het Scheepvaartmuseum, Kröller Müller Museum and the Marin. In 2013, she was chosen as Topvrouw of the Year. |

Pauline Meurs (1953) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon since 2012. She is professor of Healthcare Governance at Erasmus University, Ms Meurs also holds several other executive and supervisory positions, in particular in the field of healthcare. She is an associate member of the Dutch Safety Board (OvV), a member of the Supervisory Council of the University of Amsterdam (UvA), a member of the Supervisory Board of ArtEZ, College of Fine Arts, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Parnassiagroep and since January 1, 2019 she is also chair of the Supervisory Board of the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds. Ms Meurs was a member of the Senate of the Dutch Parliament until February 1, 2013, she was chairwoman of the Board of ZonMw (the Dutch Organization for Health Research and Development) until June 2015. From January 1, 2015 till June 1, 2019, she was chairwoman of the Council for Health and Society. She was a member of the Supervisory Board of AMC (the Amsterdam University Medical Center) till May 2020. |

Rob Meuter (1947) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon since 2012. Mr Meuter was vice-chairman of Wholesale Banking at ABN AMRO until 2005. He now holds several executive and supervisory positions, including as a member of the Supervisory Board of TD Bank N.V. and STC-KNRM B.V. (Offshore Safety Training Provider). |

Niels Mourits (1947) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon since 2012. From 2000 to 2011, Mr Mourits was the managing director of NVA, a Dutch association of insurance intermediaries and financial service providers. In previous years, Mr Mourits was managing director of the Department of Municipal Taxes in Amsterdam and of the former Sluis-, Brug- en Havengelddienst, thereafter Binnenwaterbeheer Amsterdam. He is a member of the Geschillencommissies (Arbitration Boards) for the Legal Profession, the Notarial Profession, and the BOVAG. |

Matt Rider (1963) became a member of Vereniging Aegon and its Executive Committee in 2017. Mr Rider is a member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer of Aegon N.V. |

Victor de Serière (1949) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon, as well as a member of its Executive Committee since 2015. Mr De Serière is of counsel to Allen & Overy in Amsterdam, specialising in banking and securities law. He is also a professor of Securities Law (aspects pertaining to property rights) at the Radboud University Nijmegen and a member of the Nijmegen Institute for Financial Law. He is a member of the Supervisory Boards of IMC B.V., and a member of the Vereniging OOM / Aegon. He also is a member of the Board of a cultural foundation. |

M. Snel (1970) is chairman of NOGEPA, the industry body of the Dutch oil- and gassector. Next to that, Menno is chairman of the Supervisory Board of both Royal IHC and the Nationale Hypotheek Garantie (NHG). He is chairman of de Mr. Hans van Mierlo Stichting, the political think tank affiliated with D66. Menno Snel was educated as economist and previously worked as civil servant at the `Ministry of Finance, as the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington and was CEO of the NWB Bank. Menno was member of the Dutch Cabinet Rutte-3, serving as the State Secretary for Finance. |

John van der Steen (1954) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon since 2017 and joined the Executive Committee in 2018. Mr Van der Steen is a Supervisory Board member and advisor. He is chairman of the Supervisory Board of BinckBank N.V., of Princess Sportsgear & Travel B.V. and of Coöperatie DELA, vice-chairman of Amsterdam RAI B.V. and Executive Board member of Stadhold Insurances Luxemburg S.A. He is Ambassador of the Koninklijke Concertgebouw. Until 2014, Mr Van der Steen served in various international functions within Aon Corporation and until 2006 he was chairman of the Executive Board of Aon Group Netherlands B.V. Previously, he worked at ING Bank. |

Sheila Struyck(1965) was admitted as a member of Vereniging Aegon in November 2021. Since 2014 Sheila is venture partner and co-founder of NBI Impact Investors. In 2019 she became a certified Non-Executive Director, via the INSEAD IDP Program. Her career is a combination of executive experience (i.e. CMO Philips Consumer Lifestyle and member of Execom Europcar in Paris) and (co) founding companies like Beagle Marketing Agency and the Alexander Monro Hospital. In 2020, she received the degree of superior culinary arts of Le Cordon Blue in Paris. Sheila is specialized in impact (climate) investing and in ‘plant-forward and plant-based’. |

Marianne Tijssen (1957) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon since 2018. In April 2021 she became member of the Until 2007, Ms Tijssen worked at ABN AMRO Bank in several positions. In 2009, she entered the Fintech world as the founder of Five Degrees, an IT provider of core banking systems. In 2014, she became vice-chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Univé Coöperatie and chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Univé Schade N.V. Per January 2020 she is a non executive boardmember of Aavishkaar group (AVSM) in India, a impact investor and per March 2020 also of ORTEC B.V. |

Lieutenant General R. Verkerk (RNLMC, Rtd) (1960) has been a member of the Association since 2022. Mr. Verkerk was Commander of the Royal Netherlands Navy until 2017 and Commander of the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps until 2012. He currently holds a number of administrative and supervisory positions. He is chairman of Nederland Maritiem Land (the umbrella organisation of the maritime sector), chairman of the Supervisory Board of MARIN (the maritime research institute of the Netherlands) and member of the Supervisory Board of the Stichting Koninklijke Defensie Musea. |
