Aegon Fonds Nederland - launching in 2027

As of 15 October 2026, the Association has introduced a new structure in light of the proposed relocation of Aegon’s legal domicile and head office to the United States. The Association has been split into two independent entities. A newly established entity, Stichting Aegon Fonds Nederland (Aegon Fund Netherlands Foundation), will continue the Association’s social activities in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and further develop these activities. Stichting Aegon Fonds Nederland obtained ANBI status (Dutch public benefit organisation status) in August 2026.

The Association’s articles of association were amended on 15 October 2026. Under its new name, Vereniging Aegon Americas (Aegon Americas Association), the Association will retain its existing approximately 18% stake in Aegon Ltd. and will continue to act in a balanced manner in the interests of Aegon Ltd. and its stakeholders in implementing its strategy and relocating Aegon Ltd.’s legal domicile and head office to the United States.

This new structure, including the conversion of the ordinary B shares, was approved by a resolution of the shareholders of Aegon Ltd. concerning the company’s relocation to the United States and the associated amendments to its articles of incorporation and bylaws. This shareholder resolution was adopted at an extraordinary general meeting of Aegon Ltd. held on 8 October 2026.

Aegon Fonds Nederland – Launching in 2027

On 15 October 2026, the Association donated €500 million to Stichting Aegon Fonds Nederland as endowment capital to support and further develop the Foundation’s social activities in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
