Vereniging Aegon has entered into an agreement with Aegon to participate in its new share buyback.
The sale of Vereniging Aegon’s shares will begin today and is expected to be completed by December 23, 2026, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Vereniging Aegon will participate pro-rata in the share buyback program based on its combined common shares and common shares B voting rights currently exercisable at around 18.4%, resulting in a buyback amount of EUR 37 million. The number of common shares that Aegon will repurchase from Vereniging Aegon will be determined based on the daily volume-weighted average price per common share on Euronext Amsterdam.
