On 15 October 2026 Vereniging Aegon implemented the new structure that was announced on 28 May 2026. It executed the donation of EUR 500m to Stichting Aegon Fonds Nederland and amended its articles of association to change its name to Vereniging Aegon Americas.
As per the same date, the Common Shares B and Special Cause voting rights were converted on a 1:40 basis into shares of common stock of Aegon Ltd. As a result, Vereniging Aegon Americas will retain a stake of approximately 18.4% in Aegon Ltd. and continue to act in the interest of Aegon and its stakeholders in a balanced manner as it executes its strategy and redomiciles to the United States.
Following the implementation of the new structure the composition of the members of Vereniging Aegon Americas and its executive committee is as follows:
